As most of us are aware, there has been an increase in violent
and other crimes in the Cincinnati area. In addition to this, there
has been much racial unrest and behavioral concerns that appear
to go beyond simple explanation. It seems ironic that these social
problems are coming about at the same time that treatment funds for addictions and other social services have been and are being cut.
One of the greatest strengths of the recovery community is our
diversity. We are as varied as America and we each achieve
recovery in our own way. We have the power to advocate on
behalf of those who benefit from recovery and those still struggling
with addiction to alcohol and other drugs and their families. We
have the power to advocate by speaking out TOGETHER!

One that pleads the cause of another; the voice.
